Here at TRUTH you will notice most items you pick up will have their contents made up of one or more of the following: organic cotton, recycled materials, sustainable cotton/other materials, hemp, Fairtrade materials or recyclable materials to name just a few.
It's important for us to note from the start here, on the truly sustainable front, we are not perfect, but we are very conscious, and making every effort at every turn to have a positive impact on the planet with our business & be a driving force in moving into being fully sustainable in our field.
We are seeking out more and more brands that align with our Eco-Friendly views and we are rapidly making progress to becoming a fully sustainable clothing store.
We really believe we can offer you exactly what you are looking for every time, and it doesn't have to be damaging to our planet.
Sustainable clothing can mean different things to different people.
Everyone's goal is the same on this front, but there seems to be multiple paths different people are taking to get to the same end goal; end fast fashion/ disposable use clothing that is having detrimental effects to our planet from the production to disposing of these items.
Sustainable options can be items made from renewable, reusable, recyclable & biodegradable materials.
It can also be opting to shop for high quality items. Opting to buy higher quality items, that will last you over time can be a great starting point for most that want their actions to align with their visions for the future.
When you make a purchase of any kind, you are casting a vote for what you want and are happy to pay for. Business' look and listen very carefully to what you expect from them, and voicing what you are looking for can help drive the type of change you want.
